Role Responsibilities
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Create timelines of goals to be met (in line with quarterly OKRs).
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
- Work closely with COO and Engineering lead to assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
As OpusDNS is a start-up you will also be responsible for additional tasks such as:
- Develop and review business requirements to the benefit of the resellers of OpusDNS.
- Evaluate existing business processes to formulate new business programs and initiatives in coordination with COO and Lead Engineer.
- Coordinate with other team members at OpusDNS to create and improve workflows taking into consideration our global distributed team.
- Lead process reviews and improvement initiatives.
- Complete the end to end build of a migration team incl. processes utilizing AI to streamline our domain migrations.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, information technology or a similar qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical project or product management, ideally in the field of domain registration, web hosting or related technologies.
- Good understanding of domain and DNS technologies, including DNSSEC, WHOIS, domain registration, SSL certificates and hosting solutions.
- Solid experience in the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable project management and product planning tools.
- Strong communication skills and team orientation to promote smooth cooperation between engineering and product development.
- Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and agile working methods in a dynamic environment.
